The Oklahoma Gin Rummy Card Game

“Oklahoma Gin” in situated between the simple variants of the Rummy card games, is among the simpler variations of the game. It provides the players a few tips on how to win the game regarding their level.

Like in the first two games presented above, the goal of Oklahoma Gin is to be the first one to dispose your cards from your hand. To achieve this you have several ways to do it :

Going Gin – when a player manages to put their cards on the table being able to separate them into runs and sets without having other remaining cards
Going Gin – when a player meets a deadwood score that is lower than or equal to the opening card’s worth and is the first one to put his cards on the table; or
Undercutting – if you have a lower deadwood than the one who knocked.

The cards that don’t belong to any of the melds you are holding will create a deadwood. Deadwood cards contain point values and could bump up a player’s score is many ways.
