The Gin Rummy Card Game

The Rummy game is also called "Gin Rummy" and is the easiest variant of Rummy. So it is a good way to start learning basics. It will also provide you some insides on how to win the game.

Like any other kind of Gin Rummy the main goal is to get rid of all your cards from your hand. In order to manage this performance you have several alternatives :

Going Gin – when you are able to dispose all the cards in your hand at once, without any "deadwood";
Knocking – if you have less than ten points and are the first to put your cards on the table
Undercutting – if you have a lower deadwood count than the player who managed to "knock".

The cards that don’t belong to any of the melds you are holding will create a deadwood. Deadwood cards contain point values and could bump up a player’s score is many ways.
