The Kalooki 40 Rummy Card Game

The Rummy game, Kalooki 40 is also one of the more advanced versions of the classic game of Rummy. It offers players the opportunity to do some extra challenges as it is more flexible than the classic types and it is fast-paced. The challenges include first to obtain a meld of 40 points or more before starting to lay off of build. A player is forbidden to take cards from the discard pile without first laying one or more melds.

The purpose remains the same as in the other games and that is to be the first one to dispose all of your cards you have in the hand. You can do this by either one of two ways :

• Going Out – laying down all of your cards at once; or
  
• Going Kalooki – laying down cards gradually melding the cards until they are all disposed. You can do this by a complete melding or working on already existing melding.
