Kalooki 51 - Introduction

The Kalooki 51 Rummy Card Game

Unlike the first variants of the Rummy game, Kalooki 51 one is one of the more advanced versions of the classic game of Rummy. It offers players the opportunity to do some extra challenges as it is more flexible than the classic types and it is fast-paced.

The purpose remains the same as in the other games and that is to be the first one to dispose all of your cards you have in the hand. You can do this by either one of two ways:

Going Kalooki – laying down all of your cards at once; or
Going Out – laying down cards gradually melding the cards until they are all disposed. You can do this by a complete melding or working on already existing melding.

If you opt for the second version you’d have to wait until a meld has a value of 51 before it can be put down. So now you see why this game is called Kalooki 51.
