Multi Table Tournament Rules

Multi-Table Tournaments (Multi Tourneys) :

  1. Start Time : The Tournament Lobby contains information about the starting time of different tournaments as the multiple table tournaments at Rummy Chief start at precise time.
  2. End Time : The game is over when a player manages to get all the chips in a multiple table tournament.
  3. Registration :Players can register if they meet the terms and conditions requested for that tournament. The registration will be made even if at that time the number of necessary players has not been met yet. Rummy Chief allows registration from only one account per person in a multiple table tournament.
  4. Cancel Registration :Players will get full refunds if they decide to quit the game before it started. If deciding to quit after the tournament begun there will be no refund.
  5. Amount of Players : Each tournament has different rules when it comes to the number of the players allowed to participate.
  6. Tables and Seats : The tables and seats can’t be changed and they are assigned randomly.
  7. Elimination : When a player runs out of chips he will get eliminated from the game.
  8. Playing Chips : The number of chips per player is predetermined and can differ from tournament to tournament.
  9. Rebuy : Some Multiple Table tournaments could allow players to buy more chips during the tournament. This option allows players to buy chips after getting eliminated as long as the game hasn’t reached its last round.

    • Playing Chips : The amount of chips that players get with a single rebuy will be the starting number of chips in the tournament.
    • Number of Rebuys : Inside the tournament lobby you can find information about the number of rebuys you are allowed to purchase in the specific tournament, as the number differs from game to game.
    • Maximum Level :  When the predetermined level is being reached the player won’t be able to buy chips anymore. For instance in some tournaments the maximum level is the second one and you can purchase chips until then, but afterwards not anymore.
    • Rebuy in play : Players are enabled to utilize the rebuy in play provided their chip count has not yet met or exceeded the starting chip count for that specific round. The ante amount in a paid to play round shall count as a portion of the chip counter for the player.
    • Elimination Rebuy : After a player is eliminated he will get twenty to thirty seconds do decide whether he wishes to rebuy himself into the tournament. If decided to do so he wil automatically be placed at one of the available tables.
    • Final Table : Some tournaments allow re-buying until the last round, but not after the start of the round.

  10. Distribution of Playing Chips:

    • Levels :The multiple table tournaments start with all players at the same level. During the game the level increases according to the time predetermined. The duration of a level can change from a tourney to another.
    • Ante and Ante Pot : The Ante amount is the amount of chips that are needed in order to participate to rounds. This number is determined for each level and increases during the tournament. You will see the amount in the right corner of the room window. If a player has less Ante amount than needed he will still be allowed to participate in the next round. If he wins he gets to collect from the Ante Pot. Further information can be found in the Playing Chips Payout Table section.
Every round has an Ante Pot composed of the amount of chips paid by players as an Ante in order to be able to participate in that round. Whoever wins the round gets to take all the chips from the Pot.
    • Playing Chips Ratio (PCR) :  At the culmination of every round, the chips get redistributed between the players according to the outcomes. The penalty points from the losing players get multiplied by the PCR value of the round and the number of the chips adds up to the winner.
For example: If two players are playing an elimination tournament, let’s say Kalooki, the Ante in 30 and the PCR is 3, the first player wins by Going Kalooki (see above) and the second one gets to end the game with three cards remaining. The remaining cards are -2, 2 and 3. The penalty points player two will get are [(25+2+2+3)*3]=96. Also the first player gets the chance to receive all the chips from the Ante Pot, let’s say 60. At the end of the round 156 +60 chips will be moved in the first players’ account, as 96 chips will be pulled out from the second players’ balance.
    • Playing Chips Payout Table: The chips get distributed as followed at the culmination of each round:
