Rummy Chief's Tournaments
As mentioned above, almost all Rummy card games are to play between two to four players. Even if you play it online or with your friends at home, Rummy is a great way to socialize. In order you have as much fun as playing offline while playing on the internet we now provide a lot of technical features to create as much as possible the sense of real life experience. The Rummy rooms we provide are the real deal, perfect for exciting, joyful tournaments.

The Tournaments
Multiple player tournaments offers the possibility for a lot of people to compete against one another and win large prizes. However you can’t register at anytime as these are functioning according to a schedule. You can find the Tournament Lobby where you can find information regarding starting times for tournaments as well as other important details.

Tournament Lobby
All information you need you will find in the Rummy Chief application. Here you can see the state for the tournaments, their name and ID, the players registered for it, the prizes, start time, the time left for you to register, the amount necessary for the buy-in and how the prizes are shared. Here you can register yourself in order to participate, or if you already did and can’t make it anymore, just cancel it.

Registration
you should first know that there are different periods for registration depending on the tournament. It could last for a few minutes or even days. If you enter the lobby of the specific tournament you’d like to join in you’ll find out more about the period for registration. To register just click the button situated on the right side of the screen. A popup message will indicate that you have registered successfully. If the tournament is still open for registration and you wish to cancel yours just click the Cancel Registration button that can be found also on the right side of the screen. You will get a full refund.

Pool Prize
Each tournament has a different amount for you to buy-in. There are however Freeroll tournaments that don’t require a buy-in-amount. The buy-in-amount will be withdrawn from your account when registering and the amount gathered from all the players will be the prize for the winner. Also you will be charged a minimal fee taken from Rummy Chief to help improve the tournaments.

Tournament Seats
When the tournaments moves to Running means that the tournament has begun. You will automatically get transferred to the Rummy Room to begin your first round. The tables and seats are randomly assigned to make sure that all the players are equally distributed to the tables.

Playing Chips
The player will start the tournament with a amount of chips that are equivalent to an amount paid, amount that varies between tournaments. During the game players will lose ore gain chips, according to the way they play the game. When a player loses all the chips he will get eliminated from the game. The chips lose their value as the tournament ends.

Tourney Points

Another criterion in choosing the rank of the participants besides the chips is the points gathered during the tournament. Each round will provide points to the players. The winner will get 3 points, the second place 2 points and the last place one point. 

Sharing the Prize
During the game a lot of players will be eliminated as they will lose all the belonging chips. At the end of the last round, the four players who managed to stay in the game will play at the Finale Table and will obtain one of the four places as they get eliminated. The rest of the remaining players will be ranked according to the Tournament Points. Tournaments have different lists according to which the prized are shared among players. Once the final decision regarding the rank is made the prizes will be distributed among the players.
