Single Table Tournaments Rules


 Rules for Rummy Chief Single Table

  1. Start Time :Rummy Chief will host single table elimination tournaments 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Each tournament will have a predetermined amount of allowable participants. As soon as the allowable number of seats is taken, the tournament will begin. Please refer to the Single Tourney tab for more information regarding available tables and seats.
  2. End Time : A single table elimination tournament will end as soon as all participants have been eliminated with the exception of one. The last remaining player will receive their relevant portion of the prize pool. This amount is indicated according to the payout table for that specific tourney.
  3. Registration : Players are able to register for specific single table tournaments as long as the number of allowable participants has not yet been exceed and provided they have the required buy-in amount reflected in their balance.
  4. Cancel Registration : Players may choose to cancel their participation in a single table tourney and receive a full refund for the buy-in amount in their account provided they cancel prior to the beginning of the tournament.
  5. Number of Players : The maximum number of permitted players will be set separately for each tournament.
  6. Seats: shall be assigned on a random basis in each round and cannot be changed.
  7. Elimination :A player will be eliminated from single table elimination tournament as soon as the maximum number of allowable penalty points is collected. 
  8. Rebuy : When the rebuy option is employed in a single table tournament, the player rejoins the tourney with the same amount of penalty points as the player that is holding the highest amount of penalty points left at the table.
  9. Scoring

      Penalty Points (defeated)
    Kalooki 51\ Rummy Total value of the cards left in the player's hand + 25 Penalty Points. (Ace = 11, Joker = 25)
    Kalooki 40 Total value of the cards left in the player's hand + 25 Penalty Points. (Ace = 11, Joker = 15)
    Rummy 500 (Sum of melds) - (total value of the cards left in the player's hand ) (Ace = 15, Joker = 15)
    Going out Total value of the cards left in the player's hand. (Ace = 11, Joker = 25)










      Penalty Points (defeated)
    Gin Sum of deadwoods + 25 penalty points.
    Knock Sum of deadwoods minus knockers deadwoods.
    Undercut Sum of deadwoods less undercutter's deadwoods. Knocker shall receive an additional 10 penalty points.






  10. Disconnections
    • When a player registers for a single table tournament, they accept full responsibility regarding the risk of an Internet disconnection of a communication interference between Rummy Chief' servers and their PC, as well as any possible freeze game or lag and any other problem that could occur with their own computer. Except for a server crash, Rummy Chief shall not be held responsible for any disconnection of a player from the server.
    • Rummy Chief acknowledges that interferences and Internet disconnections may occur and stipulates that players will remain in the tournament in Auto-Play mode until they are eliminated or return.
    • In the event of a server crash, all players registered will receive a full refund of their buy-in amount.
  11. Auto-Play Mode :In the event a player fails to complete their turn on time, which is one minute, the system will draw one card automatically from the stock pile and then discard it at the end of the player's turn.

    In case players fail to complete their turn on time (1 minute) – the system will automatically draw one card from the stock pile and discard it at the end of their turn.
    In the event that all players that are assigned to a specific table are in auto-play mode, the round will continue for a few more minutes. At that time, the tournament will automatically cancel and players will receive a refund for the stake of that tournament.
  12. Prizes Distribution : Prizes shall be distributed based on the payout table for each specific tournament. In a two to three player tournament, the winner will take the entire pot. In a four player tournament, the prize pool shall be distributed between first and second players. You can find out more about the payout table for the tournament by clicking on the Payout button that can be found in the game room, located on the upper left side.
  13. Vouchers : Prizes for Single Table Tourneys may take the form of a voucher redeemable for the Multiple Table Tournament. In that case the Prize indicator located in the upper right corner of the screen will reflect Voucher. The winner will win the total prize in voucher tables. No money will be awarded for second, third and fourth places.
  14. Game Room Chat : Rummy Chief does allow and even encourage chatting during single table tournament rounds. Rummy Chief hall reserve the right at our discretion to disqualify players immediately from single table tournaments in the even they do not comply with the Chat Etiquette and Chat Abuse Policy.
  15. Terms of Use : Terms of use and play for Rummy Chief are applicable to all single table tournaments. Rummy Chief reserves the right at its sole discretion to take any measures deemed appropriate against players who engage in any play pattern or activity that does not comply with the terms of use and play. Players who are caught engaging in these activities will risk the loss of their winning funds and/or termination of their Rummy Chief accounts.
