The basic rule of Traditional Rummy is that you have to be the last one that gets rid of all the cards in your hand in order to win the game. In order to finish the game you pick up and discard cards and use the ones you have in your hand to form melds

• Going Rummy – when the player is able to dispose all of the cards at once
• Going Out – when the player disposes his cards gradually through melds.
  

This variant of the Rummy Games allows players to make a lot of moves and gives them a lot of opportunities to eliminate their cards because they can lay down melds and add to existing ones on the table anytime they want.
